The Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics successfully concluded. Team China won 18 gold medals, 20 silvers and 23 bronzes, ranking first in both gold count and overall medal count. It has so far been the best performance since China participated in the Winter Paralympics.
Students from the BSU Paralympics Champion Class have claimed 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronzes with their excellent performance, and hundreds of BSU faculties and students have served as volunteers in the games and performed in the closing ceremony. They have all embodied the mission and responsibilities of BSU in the Games.
BSU students Yan Zhuo, Chen Jianxin, Zhang Mingliang and their teammates won the wheelchair curling championship for China.
In para alpine skiing women's giant slalom sitting, BSU student Liu Sitong won the silver medal with her outstanding performance.
Liu Sitong also won 3 bronze medals in para alpine skiing women's combined sitting, women's downhill sitting and women's slalom sitting.
In para cross-country skiing women’s sprint sitting, BSU student Ma Jing won the bronze. In para cross-country women's long-distance skiing sitting, she won the fifth place.

Apart from the coaches and athletes working at the front-line, the technical officials, technique staff, medical staff, volunteers and other support personnel from BSU have all made their active contributions to make sure the tasks assigned by the state are well fulfilled.
