On the evening of February 15, IOC President Bach went to the Yanqing National Sliding Center (Snow Dragon) to watch the men’s two-man bobsleigh competition. At the competition site, President Bach had exchanges with Sun Yu, one of the BSU faculty who serves as the domestic technical officer for Bobsleigh and Skeleton events at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games.

Sun briefly introduced to President Bach the work BSU has done for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games. She said, "Our university has sent a large number of technical officers and volunteers to serve the Winter Games. Meanwhile, BSU has prepared a lot for the events with science and technology, contributing to the achievements of the Games.” President Bach expressed his appreciation for the efforts BSU has made in the Beijing Winter Games and sent his greetings to BSU. “Hello to all the friends at Beijing Sport University, I hope you're enjoying the Games and I wish you all the very best.
