Recently, "China Sports Tourism Development Report 2019-2020" ("Sports Tourism Green Book"), which was organized and prepared by Beijing Sport University, was officially published and released by Social Science Literature Publishing House.
In terms of research topic selection, the report adheres to a combination of macro and micro topic selection, focusing on three parts: general report, thematic chapter and industry chapter, which provides a perspective and analysis of the current development of China's sports tourism, a systematic combing of sports tourism policies, an in-depth analysis of sports tourism development formats, and predictions and development suggestions on development trends.
In terms of research content, the report makes predictions and analysis of the environment and future trends of sports tourism development in China, in addition to detailed combing and analysis of sports tourism segments, and seeks to provide comprehensive information for scientific decision-making by governments at all levels, political participation and deliberation by all sectors of society, as well as scientific research by universities and research institutions in the process of promoting the high-quality development of China's sports tourism industry.
According to the report, the development environment of China's sports tourism continues to be optimized; the development quality of China's sports tourism continues to improve; China's sports tourism will usher in a broader development space.
The report was developed by China Institute of Sports Strategy, Beijing Sport University. The writing of the report relied on the National Social Science Foundation of China and the Beijing Social Science Foundation of China, which were undertaken by Yang Zhandong, Qi Fei and Fang Yan of the School of Sports, Leisure and Tourism. It took a year from preliminary research to data collation, from report writing to revision and improvement. As the first green book on sports tourism in China, the publication of the report marks a landmark achievement in the field of sports tourism in Beijing Sport University.
