In order to do a good job in the prevention of epidemic prevention and control and to strengthen the psychological construction of overseas youth team, athletics sports reserve personnel training base joint the Ministry of students invited associate professor Liu Yang of Beihang University to give a special psychological counseling lecture on " The Light of Hope Under the Epidemic Situation" for all overseas youth training teams on April 15.

The lecture was held in the form of video conference. All the teachers and students from 18 overseas youth training teams attended the lecture.

In the lecture, Professor Liu Yang introduced eastern and western fairy tales, explaining the characteristics of hope and its importance to human beings. Then, he elaborated the relationship between epidemic situation, hope and human adaptive ability. He also showed people's common emotional reactions in sudden situations through his own experience of fighting the epidemic.

As to how to live with the common negative emotions under the epidemic situation, how to build their own internal psychological space, how to find a suitable adjustment method, how to get out of the shadow of the epidemic situation and other issues concerned by the overseas team members, Liu Yang all gave his answers.

Yang also introduced the techniques and methods of psychological self-regulation.

All the overseas youth training teachers and students listened to the whole lecture carefully.

After the lecture, the teachers from the athletics sports reserve personnel training base and the Ministry of students also answered the other questions concerned by the overseas youth training team members. The team members expressed their gratitude to the school for their concern and strong support, and they would do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic.
