On March 29th, the High-Level Seminar on New Quality Productive Forces in the Sports Industry, jointly organized by Beijing Sport University (BSU), China Sports Publications Corporation (CSPC), and China International Camping Congress, was held at BSU. Over sixty guests from government departments, relevant industries and academic circles attended the event. The seminar was hosted by Li Xue, anchorperson from the Sports and Leisure Channel of Beijing Radio and Television Station (BRTV).
Themed on Intelligence Drives Changes and IP Creates Future, the seminar aimed to further advance the development of new quality productive forces based on industry-academia-research cooperation and improve the efficiency of resource allocation. With high-level and well-organized planning, institutional development and cultivation of innovative talents, high-quality development of the sports industry will be further empowered. The seminar was covered by Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, China News Service, and China Sports Daily.
Zhang Jian, Vice President of BSU, emphasized that the development of new quality productive forces were reflected not only in technological innovation and industrial upgrading, but also in the innovation of industrial patterns, upgrading of consumption demand, and transformation of talent training. He called for greater cooperation from different disciplines and areas and advocated in-depth research on how to integrate new quality elements into the sports industry, thus promoting the development of versatile and practical talents and digital transformation of the sports industry.
Yang Yang, Deputy General Manager of China Sports Publications Corporation and Chief Editor of China Sports Daily,spoke highly of the seminar. She said that in the process of building China into a country strong in sports, we all should vigorously develop new quality productive forces in line with local conditions in order to bring the development of the sports industry to a new level.
Li Shouwen, Chairman of the China International Camping Congress and President of the Camping Club TOP Project, stated in his address that in the sports industry, new quality productive forces make new requirements for objects of labor, production factors, and higher-quality workers.Together with partners from all walks of life,we will provide Camping Club Global Service System to help develop new quality productive forces in the sports industry.
Three guests shared their ideas during the keynote speech session.Professor Xiao Shuhong, Dean of the Business School of Sport of BSU, elaborated on the new quality productive forces in the sports industry. She emphasized that the essence of innovation-driven development is to promote quality development through innovation. Meanwhile, she analyzed the key points in fostering new quality productive forces in the sports industry from the aspects of technological innovation, management innovation, institutional innovation, and talent cultivation.
Under the theme of “Cultivating and Developing New Quality Productive Forces to Promote High-quality Development of Hebei Sports Industry”, Tian Jiangong, Deputy Director-General of Hebei Sports Bureau, shared in detail the practices, experience, and vision of Heibei Province in five aspects, including cultivating new scenes of sports consumption, developing new forms of integrated development, seizing opportunities for transformation and upgrading, stimulating market entities, and building a new system of sports industry.
Wang Qifu, Dean of the Training College of the Open University of China, focused on how better job skills and better educational background can help develop practical talents driven by new quality productive forces in the sports industry. He introduced a new model serving lifelong learning for all and said that online open education will be an important approach for developing new quality productive forces under the background of “AI + Education” model.
Two panel discussions followed. Guests from areas of sports, tourism, architecture, technology, finance and consulting had in-depth discussions on how to develop new quality productive forces in the sports industry based on their experience.
