Gao Feng

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of BSU

Gao Feng, male, was born in March 1966 with Han nationality. As a member of the Communist Party of China, professor and doctoral tutor, he is currently a Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of BSU of Beijing Sport University.

After graduated from Beijing Normal University in 1987, he has successively taken the following posts: a teacher of the Department of Physical Education of Southwest China Normal University (1987-1990); a postgraduate student at the Graduate School of Beijing Sport University (1990-1993); a teacher at the Volleyball Teaching and Research Section of Beijing Sport University (1993-2005) (including a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Beijing Sport University in 1996-1999, a academic visitor at the University of New England in 2003, and a teacher of the Macau Polytechnic Institute in 2004-2005); Deputy Director and Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Beijing Sport University (2005-2014); Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee of, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of and Vice President of Beijing Sport University (2014-now).

He is mainly engaged in the research in higher physical education management and educational reform, physical education training, sports philosophy, etc. He has won the titles or awards such as the “Excellent Young Teachers in Beijing”, the “First Prize of Basic Teaching Skills (Arts) of Beijing Higher Education Teachers”, the “Second Prize of Young Teacher Teaching of Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation", the “First Prize of the Provincial and Ministerial Teaching Achievements” (for five times), and the “Second Prize of National Teaching Achievements” (twice), etc., and enjoyed special government allowances from the State Council.

He is also Director of the School Sports Branch of China Sport Science Society, a director of the Specialized Committee of Education Law System from the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, and a director of Beijing Association of Higher Education.
