On November 13, the opening ceremony of the Institute of Sports and Humanistic Exchange between China and Foreign Countries was successfully held at BSU. Du Kewei, Director of the Center for Chinese-Foreign Humanistic Exchange of the Ministry of Education, and Cao Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing Sport University, jointly inaugurated the Institute. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Jian, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Sport University.

The Institute will make full use of the resources of the university platform to serve the diplomacy of the country with Chinese characteristics and promote humanistic exchanges between Chinese and foreign countries by providing policy advice, intellectual support and personnel training services. Beijing Sport University will give full play to its professional advantages to provide a solid guarantee for the development of the Institute, to share the mission of sports and humanistic exchanges in the era of sports and humanistic exchanges, and to enhance the international influence and competitiveness of Chinese sports.
